Apparel Production Artist

S4G (stuff4GREEKS) operates as a subsidiary of APGG.  We are a team of artists and designers based in Atlanta, GA. APPAREL PRODUCTION ARTIST

We are looking for someone to prepare embroidery/applique files and run embroidery machines. You will be part of a team responsible for producing highly customized collegiate and Greek embroidery. You will learn to cut the material for the designs using a plotter and then program the machines to sew the designs on the garments.

We are a growing company with a fun, friendly, and fast-paced work environment.
Full on-the-job training is provided, however candidates with the following backgrounds are highly preferred:

Responsibilities

  • Experience operating an embroidery machine.
  • Experience operating a cutter or plotter.
  • Former or present members of a college fraternity or sorority (or similar organization) and those enthusiastic about Greek life in general.

Qualifications

  • Know how to edit vector art and work with layers in Corel Draw and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Be VERY detail-oriented.
  • Be a fast learner and smart worker.
  • Be a great strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
  • Exude confidence in your abilities.
  • Be self-motivated.

Hours of Operations

Hours for the Apparel Production Artist position will vary depending on the season (22.5 - 40 hours per week depending on the season). The peak season is September through May. Great schedule for students or someone needing a weekend schedule.

- Friday  evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning (5-10 hours per day)

- Somewhat flexible

- Able to work independently
